Installation Questions
Do you use in-house installers?
Yes! In fact we ONLY use our in-house certified installation teams. All installations are completed by our professional installation teams—we do not outsource this work. The majority of our dealership partners require installations to be certified in their specific roles.
Will you program my motorized treatments?
Absolutely. Our installers handle programming, calibration, and setup, including smartphone apps, remotes, and wall controls. We’ll walk you through operation, and setup and are available if you ever need reminding of how features work.
How long does installation take?
Installation time varies depending on project size and complexity. Most installations are completed efficiently in a single visit once products are ready.
Can I measure my windows and send you the specifications?
While we will accept customer-provided measurements, we can only guarantee fit and work performed by our installation team.
Can you repair blinds/shades/shutters
While our team is talented, we generally only repair devices we’ve sold in the past.

Process & Scheduling Questions
What is the process for getting started?
We begin with a consultation to understand your space, goals, and preferences. From there, we guide product selection, fabrication, and professional installation. If you’re looking for design ideas, we’d love to see you in the Hunter-Douglas Gallery in our store in Waynesville, where you can see our products in action, wander through the fabric samples, and see how our artisans work.
But it doesn’t have to start there. If you have an idea or are working with a decorator or designer already, we can provide feedback over email and phone.
The next step involves one of our team meeting you in your space to measure and ensure we have the project details exactly as you planned. From there we start the crafting project. We’ll give you realistic time estimates for delivery and work with you on scheduling installation.
Do you provide estimates?
Absolutely. After consultation and material selection, we provide clear pricing based on your custom project. We should note that if our team comes out to professionally measure, we generally do not provide the measurements until an order is placed.
How far in advance should I schedule?
Custom projects require lead time for fabrication. While in off-peak season we can normally turn around projects in 2-3 weeks, we recommend reaching out early, especially during spring and fall, to ensure availability.
